Cartoonist Sasha (writer-director Lisa Gornick) and her attorney girlfriend Maya (Brit TV phenom Raquel Cassidy) have heterosexual procreation envy. If only they could get pregnant by mistake like everyone else does, laments Sasha. Bursting with smart, tender observations on prospective parenthood, Tick Tock Lullaby is a clever exploration of sexuality and the search for sperm in hip thirty-something London as Sasha and Maya struggle with whether (and how) to have a baby.
A wry comedy feature about one of life’s biggest decisions and how the more you have to think about it, the harder it is.
